On the last day of my summer vacation I ran up Mt. Asama before breakfast to get my heart rate up and have a look around. With a broken spoke on my road bike trail running was about all I could do for the same level of intense climbing until I could get my bike to the shop to be repaired. Just before all my bike savvy friends insult me for not being able to fix something as simple as a spoke, Easton requires damages of this sort to be returned to the factory to re-center and balance the wheel. They are smooth as butter on the downhills so I'm happy to oblige on this one. Anyway here is a look down into the crater of the volcano near my in-laws vacation place in Nagano.
